Rocca Sinibalda è un paesino che si trova nel cuore della Valle del Turano, a Rieti. Su queste colline Poggiomasso nasce qualche anno fà e si è dimostrato subito una grande realtà, diventando in breve leader sul mercato. Particolare attenzione viene rivolta al rispetto della natura, alla tutela dell’ambiente ed alla conservazione della biodiversità.
I fratelli Bartolomei, nella cantina del Lazio Poggiomasso, coltivano: Sauvignon, Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay, Montepulciano, Sangiovese e Cesanese. Ogni singola varietà esprime al meglio le proprie potenzialità perché cresce nelle condizioni podeclimatiche adeguate. Questo legame tra vitigno e territorio porta alla produzione di tre vini di qualità: Lazio IGP Sauvignon, Rosato e Rosso. Il bianco l’ho già assaggiato, il rosato, ahimè, mi manca❗ Oggi vi presento il 🍷 Rosso 2019
🍇 Sangiovese 70%, Cesanese 30%
👨‍🌾 Vendemmia manuale e lunga fermentazione sulle bucce, rimontaggi e svinature a freddo, fermentazione in acciaio. 3 mesi di bottiglia.
👀 Rosso rubino.
👃 Sensazioni di marasca e prugna secca, con alloro e ginepro da contorno. Spezie dolci, cioccolato e liquirizia completano il quadro olfattivo.
👅 Assaggio appagante con tannini ben presenti e gentili, equilibrato con spalla acida. Sorso su note di frutta rossa e speziatura. Lungo finale.

Rocca Sinibalda is a small village located in the heart of the Turano Valley, in Rieti. The Bartolomei brothers in the winery of Lazio Poggiomasso cultivate Sauvignon, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Montepulciano, Sangiovese and Cesanese and every single variety expresses at its best its potential because it grows in suitable podeclimatic conditions. This link between vine and territory leads to the production of three high quality wines, Lazio IGP Sauvignon, Rosato and Rosso. 🍇 Sangiovese 70%, Cesanese 30%
👨‍🌾 Manual harvest and long fermentation on the skins, pumping over and cold racking, fermentation in steel. 3 months bottle.
👀 Ruby red.
👃 Sensations of marasca cherry and dried plum, with bay leaves and juniper as a side dish. Sweet spices, chocolate and licorice complete the olfactory picture.
👅 Satisfying taste with well present and gentle tannins, balanced with acidic shoulder. Sip on notes of red fruit and spice. Long aftertaste.
